Rabbit In Distress

Rabbit In Distress

SKU: 0018

The Rabbit In Distress call is made with a walnut barrle and a maple vocal tube dyed black. The voice for this call is a metal reed loud cottontail. This call is used to mimick a rabbit that is injured or dying which is a dinner bell for predators such as foxes, bobcats and coyotes. Used in conjunction with the Copenhagen Ki-Yi it can be a deadly combo.

Priced per call.

  • PRODUCT INFO

Predators are opportunistic animals that are more than willing to respond to the sounds of an easy meal. Start your calling routine loud to imitate an injured rabbit, by wavering the air flow through the call you can add emotion. Slowly decrease the volume of the call as you continue your routine until you are making soft wimpers as if it is calming from the initial attack or injury. You can then begin the calling routine by bringing it back to full volume as if the rabbit has been attacked/distressed again and just repeat your calling routine again. Volume and emotion play a big part in imitating a rabbit in distress.
