Mighty Hen Scratch Box
The Mighty Hen scratch box turkey calls are "Small but Mighty"!!! All field grade Mighty Hens are made from eastern red cedar with a poplar/cedar striker for a consistant sound quality. The striker is designed to fit your hand in a way to guarantee the grain is running in the correct direction and also forms a cup in your hand to help direct the sound. All calls are hand made and tuned by me and come with a storage case, full instructions and my commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Mighty Hen scratch box turkey call is the result of someone asking me 20 years ago to make one. I had never even seen one except for pictures in a magazine, didn't even know how big they were, but they looked small. So not knowing any better I made my first one 3" long by 3/4" square with a sound board 1 1/4" wide. I was shocked at the amount of sound that came out of that little scratcher. The ones made today are slightly bigger but still produce an incredible amount of sound and can mimic everything from purring, clucking, yelps, cutts and kee kees with very little trouble. They truly are "Small but Mighty"!!!
